Now, we get to the really fun stuff – what to expect from us in terms of Early Bird pre-orders over the coming month, as we delve into some of our August line-up! It’s worth noting that this isn’t all we have going on this August, as we’ll have some other summer celebrations that we’ll be telling you more about in due course, but for now this is plenty of get excited about!
Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto-Memory Doll Collector’s Edition
We know that so many of you have fallen in love with Violet Evergarden, and on Friday, 4th of June you’ll be able to prepare yourself for another step in her journey as pre-orders open for our Eternity and the Auto-Memory Doll Collector’s Edition.
This set – in keeping with our release of the TV series – sports a rigid slipcase, within which you’ll find the film on Blu-ray in an Amaray case. Beyond that, this set also includes an A3 poster and a series of five artcards. The piece de resistance however is not one but two books – the first of which is an 80-page book packed with interviews, information and artwork about every aspect of the film, culminating in a set of storyboards complete with commentary from director Haruka Fujita. The second book is also something very special – an all-new Violet Evergarden short story written by original writer Kana Akatsuki translated from the Japanese release, which adds even more emotional context to the contents of the film.

Penguindrum – Collector’s Edition
Next up, a title that we know a lot of you have been looking forward to – following last year’s popular release of Revolutionary Girl Utena, this August we bring you another of director Kunihiko Ikuhara’s incredible works with our Collector’s Edition of Penguindrum.
Our release of the series contains the complete series on Blu-ray, authored from scratch by our friends at MediaOCD and featuring both English and Japanese audio with English subtitles. The three Blu-ray discs are split across two Amaray cases, housed within a gorgeous rigid case.
You definitely won’t want to miss the booklet contained within this edition. Clocking it at around 84 pages (exact page count to be confirmed), this tome is packed with a wealth of information previously only available in Japanese, featuring comments from numerous members of the show’s creative team about the creation of the series along with all manner of artwork, designs and key animation from across the show.
You won’t find a more definitive edition of this incredible series in English – guaranteed.

Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System – Collector’s Edition
Here’s a rather wonderful surprise for you all – this August, we’ll be returning to the world of the SIBYL system, as we bring Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System to Collector’s Edition Blu-ray… and how!
If you own any of our previous Psycho-Pass releases from years gone by, then you’ll find that the rigid slipcase for Sinners of the System fits in perfectly with them.
Within that slipcase you’ll find a Digipak, containing the Blu-ray disc sporting all three films in this trilogy of tales in Japanese with English subtitles.
But that’s not all, as this edition also features two whopping booklets – a 100-page “case files” booklet featuring all manner of character and location artwork alongside comprehensive interviews with members of the production staff on the films, and then a 196-page storyboard book taking you through the entire set of storyboards for one of the three films to give you a comprehensive look at this fantastic set of additions to the world of Psycho-Pass.
